To celebrate the new year and to kick off Janathon in some sort of style I thought I'd join in the Panama Swimming Clubs' New Year Swim in Whitley Bay.

All I can say is it was COLD! The run back was easy enough and I slowly gained feeling back in my toes - which was a bonus!  Word to the wise; never, I mean never run just in speedo swimming shorts - the inner net is like a cheese grater...  You live and learn!
